2010 Los Angeles Auto Show - Coda EV Sedan


For years the Santa Monica based Coda has been promising a highway capable all-electric car but so for they've got nothin'.

Coda's first appearance at the LA Auto Show may indicate they're more serious but the company still has a few major hurdles to clear. For one, the price of the Coda Sedan is about $45,000. Yes, you can get Fed tax credits but that still makes it more expensive than a Nissan Leaf, Honda Fit Electric and Chevy Volt. Will anyone want to pay that much for a car that looks like a re-badged compact from China? Not sure about this one...
